About the Role
People Plus Industries is seeking experienced, dependable general skilled labor contractors for residential and commercial projects throughout Joplin, Missouri, and surrounding areas.
Projects may include remodeling, drywall, painting, flooring, carpentry, landscaping, property maintenance, demolition, and general repairs.
We are looking for individuals who take pride in their workmanship, communicate professionally, and can complete assigned projects efficiently.
**Position:** Independent Contractor (1099, subject to applicable classification requirements)
**Compensation:** Negotiable based on experience and project scope.
**Schedule:** Project-based opportunities with flexible availability.
Requirements
Qualifications & Requirements
Previous experience in construction, remodeling, maintenance, or skilled trades
Knowledge of basic hand and power tools
Reliable transportation to and from project locations
Ability to work independently and complete quality work
Strong attention to detail and workmanship
Dependable, professional, and good communication skills
Ability to safely perform physically demanding tasks
Own tools and equipment preferred
Must follow applicable safety requirements
Must be willing to provide professional references
Experience in any of the following is a plus: Drywall, painting, flooring, carpentry, plumbing, electrical, landscaping, demolition, and general property maintenance.
